There are so many ups and downs that moms go through with their kids. I think one of the hardest things is when your child gets sick. About a month ago Claire developed a cold and fever. I took her to the doctor and found out she had an ear infection. Her doctor prescribed her antibiotics and she started taking them right away. She started feeling better and all of a sudden on day 6 of antibiotics she woke up with a small rash on her stomach. By mid day that rash had spread all over her body. I took her to the urgent care and told them everything that had happened and they determined it was hives but did not know what it was from. They told me to continue the antibiotics and that night I gave her some Benadryl and her antibiotics. She woke up in the morning and she had become worse than the day before. Her eyes were so swollen that she could barley keep them open. Her antibiotics were supposed to be taken twice a day (morning and night) But that morning I did not give it to her as I was convinced these hives were from the antibiotics. I took her to the emergency room where they told me to discontinue the antibiotics, which I already had, and start giving her Claritin. After taking Claritin for 5 days, the hives cleared up.
During this time all Claire wanted to do was lay on me or be carried. She is 2.5 years old and I couldn’t carry her around all day. I knew the only way I could do that was with my Ergobaby Omni 360 All In One Cool Air Mesh Carrier. I have always carried her since birth in an Ergobaby because it is seriously the best carrier. It is breathable, lightweight and has a detachable pouch that I carry my phone, wallet and keys in. The Ergobaby Omni 360 All In One Cool Air Mesh Carrier supports up to 45 pounds and that let me carry her on my back easily. You do not need an infant insert for your newborn and you can use the carrier in 4 different positions.
I really don’t know what I would have done without my Ergobaby carrier and I always recommend it to all new and veteran moms. You can find this exact carrier and more HERE Ergobaby partner but all opinions are my own.
